Painted. Colour-matched to the original finish, or a new colour, sealed with lacquer.

Powder-coated. A tough baked-on finish that stands up to Glasgow roads and winter salt.

Custom colour. Black, gunmetal, body-colour or something louder. Ask and we’ll quote it.

Questionsabout alloy wheel refurbishment

Straight answers to what people ask us most. Can’t see yours? Call the workshop or send a few photos and ask.

Can every wheel be refurbished?

Most kerb damage, scuffs and corrosion can be repaired. If a wheel is cracked or bent, we’ll tell you straight.

What’s the difference between painted and powder-coated?

Powder coating is applied as a dry powder and baked on, giving a thick, tough finish. Paint is the better choice for matching an original factory colour. We’ll recommend what suits your wheels.

Can I change the colour?

Yes. Custom colours are available in paint or powder coat.

How do I keep refurbished wheels looking new?

Clean them with a pH-neutral wheel cleaner rather than harsh acid-based products, and take care near kerbs. A protective coating makes brake dust easier to wash off.
