Questionsabout body styling and modifications
Straight answers to what people ask us most. Can’t see yours? Call the workshop or send a few photos and ask.
Can you paint parts before fitting?
Yes. Splitters, spoilers and kit parts can be painted to match or contrast before they go on.
Can you help me decide on a look?
Yes. Bring the car in or send photos and we’ll give you honest advice on what will work.
Can you smoke lights or de-chrome trim?
Yes. Lights can be smoked and chrome trim blacked out. Lights still need to be bright enough to pass an MOT, so we’ll tell you what’s sensible.
Do I need to tell my insurer about modifications?
Yes. Insurers expect to be told about modifications, including cosmetic ones like splitters, spoilers and smoked lights. Not declaring them can affect a future claim.
